Langtang Region is a matchless combination of natural beauty and cultural riches and the nearest trekking destination from Kathmandu valley. Langtang is located around 130 km north of Kathmandu Valley and closer to the border of China. Being Nepal’s first national park, it is equally beautiful lying in between Langtang Lirung (7245m); the highest peak in the region, on the north and beautiful range of smaller peaks; Chimse Danda, Ganja La Pass (5122m), Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa (6989m) on the south. Langtang Region is considered more adventurous as the area is visited by lesser tourists compared to other Himalayan region. The beautiful Helambu Valley lets you visit the beautiful Langtang National park and then at the end of the valley; the view of the wonderful ice flutes of Gyangchempo.
