Janakpur Tour is a tour designated to visit the holy place Janakpur with the main highlight being Ram Janaki Mandir, a holy Hindu pilgrimage site. The city is a crowded by pilgrims from around the world in the date of Ram and Sita wedding day also known as ‘Vivah Panchami’; which is considered as the best date for anyone in Hindu culture to get married in late November or early December. Also the birth date of Ram known as ‘Ram Nawami’, the place gets crowded by the devotees of Lord Ram and Vishnu himself which lies in march or April. Janakpur is located in the Terai region of Nepal with a distance of 390 km from Kathmandu (7 hrs in drive or 40 min in flight). With its climate of the extreme in both winter and summer, the place also serves as a best place to study the living of people in typical Terai environment.
