Upper Dolpa Trek

Upper Dolpo Trek is the ultimate package to the most remote and least developed district of Nepal, Dolpo with the trip offering you with the high and most isolated valley with the last remnants of traditional Tibetan Culture originally preserved by the legend Guru Rinpoche making Dolpa a sanctuary for Buddhist Devotees. The place is a permanent settlement for about 5000 people living on Buddhism practice and traditional agriculture. The typical people, architecture of the place, unique light conditions and the unusual geography of Dolpo makes its best of its type, picturesque, mysterious and affectionate. The tour starts from Jhupal Village passing through interesting villages, forests of pine, oaks and rhododendron and gigantic mountains and over Numala Pass (5400m) until we reach Phoksundo Lake at Ringmo Village in the Phoksundo National Park. The village is perfection with its deep blue water of Phoksundo Lake and the surrounding peaks of Kanjirowa Range and the monasteries nearby. Our journey will be a non-stop exciting and interesting tour as we continue to the amazing country of Crystal mountain at Shay Gompa and following the ancient Trans Himalayan Trade Route back to Jhupal.
