Langtang Helambu Ganja-La Pass Trek offers a whole host of trekking destinations offering you with an entirely wilderness and adventure experience. Located on the North of Kathmandu Valley, the valley of Langtang lies just below the main Himalayan range with Tibetan border on north and a rage of lower snowy peaks but equally fascinating, on the south. The trek offers an opportunity to explore Tibetan villages, Tamang villages and expedition of lower elevations of snowy peaks that are comparatively less strenuous. Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek starts from Syabru Bensi from where you walk along the Trail of Langtang River towards the east till you reach Kyangin Gompa (3049m). Kyangin Gompa is surrounded by some beautiful peaks of Langtang Region; Naya Kanga (5,846m) and to the south east, Ponggen Dopku (5,930m). Kyangin Gompa is surrounded by Mt Langtang Lirung (7245m ) on the west, Yala peak on the north , Dorje Lakpa(6966m), Urkeinmang(6387m), Loenpo Gang (6979) and Kangchenpo on the north-east. In Kyangin Gompa there are a small Buddhist monasteries and cheese factory where you can taste on cheese from Yak milk. The route levels above 3000m with spectacular views of Langtang Lirung and Tibetan peaks beyond. The highest point being Ganja-La pass (5122m) has some risky parts to trek on so we use extra precautions on some parts of trek using ropes and safe and slow walk in the steep slopes. Towards the last part of the trek, you will lead through lovely rice terraces and many Buddhist Monasteries around the attractive villages of Tarke Gyang and Sermathang
